To Use the Collaboration Manager

The Collaboration Manager enables you to check out design files and panels. The tool displays any current locks by other users with information regarding the current operations being carried out. The tool also manages the concurrency control system of Bentley Raceway and Cable Management.
  1. Start one of the Bentley Raceway and Cable Management Managers (e.g. ID Manager, Cable Manager etc.).
  2. Launch the Collaboration Manager. This is usually done from a pull down menu, or a right-click context menu.
  3. Right-click on an entry and choose Select all from the context menu to select all entries in the list.
  4. Right-click again and select Request Lock to lock the entry.
  5. Locks can be requested on individual entries as well.
  6. Optional: To release a locked file(s), right-click and select Release Lock from the context menu.
  7. Press OK to complete the command.
